SUMMARY
The Monotonist is a dystopian, existential play that grapples with the plight of the working class and the neglectful selfishness of the wealthy. Guy Lorry is an everyman living a repetitive life until he is let in on a secret that could mean the end of everything he’s ever known. Over the following days he falls down a spiral of discovery and disillusionment, leading him to a tragic fate.
